Time flies and it flies even faster when you have kids.  It is almost Halloween!  Are you ready?  Have you decorated your apartment/house?  Have your kids settled on their costume ideas?  Have you bought candies for the trick-or-treaters?  Oh, the list goes on...

My go-to for preparing for Holidays?  Martha Stewart.  Another source that I use often is a blog called Oh Happy Day

For Halloween, let's start with Jack-O-Lanterns.  What kind of Jack-O-Lanterns will you curve this year?
Here is a wealth of information from Martha.
She even teaches you how to properly curve a pumpkin. What would I do without Martha?
Costumes:

While there will for sure be many many many Elizas and Annas on Halloween, some opt for more off-the-beaten path costumes.
Do you recognize these characters?  Yes, they are the mini versions of Gwyneth Paltrow and Luke Wilson from The Royal Tenenbaums.  Though I am a big Wes Anderson fan, I am not sure if I would dress my kids in the movie characters...  But they are unique, different and totally hipster.  Great ideas from Oh Happy Day!
Decorations and food:
Here are some more work for moms...  Just kidding - they are super cool and fun projects!
Don't forget the food! Here are 31 great spooky food ideas!
Happy Halloween!!
